I worked for Barry O'Brien in the early 1980's as captain of his sailing yacht "Quietly". He was a fine man, an inspiration and a mentor to me as young man. He will be missed but his legacy lives on in his extended family.

Mr. O'Brien was a wonderful man. I had the privelege of serving on the St. Peter's School board for the past two years with him. He cared so much about St. Peter's school and church - it was wonderful to have him as inspiration. His selfless acts were numerous and he will be deeply missed by the St. Peter's community. A few years ago, I had the privelege of chaperoning a trip to his apple orchard for my daughter's class when she was in Kindergarten. All the kids had such a wonderful time and the O'Brien's did so much for them. Myself and my daughter offer our deepest condolences for Mrs. O'Brien and the rest of the O'Brien family. He will be missed by all whose lives that he touched.
