BEATRIZ DELIA LASCANO

LASCANO, Beatriz Delia (de Simone) Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully, on September 21, 2024, at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of Oscar Lascano of Brookfield, Connecticut for 57 years. Mother of Maria O'Neil (husband, Kevin) of Milton, MA, Silvana Buckley (husband, Tadhg) of Quincy, MA, Christian Lascano (wife, Mandy) of Naples, FL and Federico Lascano (wife, Christine) of Trumbull, CT. She is survived by her ten loving grandchildren, Carolina, AnaCristina and Patrick O'Neil, Nicole Buckley, Oscar, Sophia and Lauren Lascano, Brayden, Cameron and Colton Lascano. In May of this year, she was blessed to become the great-grandmother of Mila Mae Tuite, who brought her much joy in her last few months. Born and raised in Cordoba, Argentina, Beatriz was the loving daughter of the late Rafael and Herminia de Simone and sister of the late Cristina, Rafael, and Raul de Simone. Aunt to Maximiliano de Simone, Rodrigo de Simone, Estefania de Simone, Danielle Rojas Alcorta, Gustavo Rojas Alcorta and Cecilia Rojas Alcorta. Beatriz and Oscar came to New Haven, Connecticut in 1969 to start their family in The United States. Beatriz was a hard-working mother raising four children and working at her husband's Family Medical Practice in New Fairfield, CT. Following retirement in 2007, she enjoyed traveling the world with her loving husband, Oscar, playing golf and tennis, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth's Church, 350 Reedsdale Rd., Milton, MA, on Saturday, September 28, at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours at the church, prior to the Mass, from 9:00 to 10:00 am.
