My Dearest Brenda,
You are missed so much. The more the time passes, the more we all say to ourselves - "wouldn't Brenda just love to share this?" You have 3 dear Grandsons and also a sweet baby Granddaughter on her way. I'm sure they were sent from heaven so no doubt you have met them there already!
Not a single day passes that somehow we all feel your presence in your children and now your grandchildren!
I miss you so and also your brother, Erik.
You would be so happy and proud of Lindsay, Josh and Griff. They have inherited all of the endearing sweet traits of yours and Don's.
You have a Birthday to celebrate soon on Nov 24.

Dearest Brenda,
Thinking of you especially this weekend. Jeannie B and your friends are gathering at Loon Mt. for the annual remembrance of that fall weekend you always enjoyed together there. The foliage is in its full glory here in N.H. I couldn't make it there this year to join them at the "Gypsy". I know you will be there in spirit and love. It's been almost 4 years since you found your place in heaven. We all feel your presence and know you are with us.
Please give Chandler a gentle touch to help her through some difficult times. She needs some encouragement and Aunty Brenda can soothe her pain.

Dearest Brenda,
Another year gone and we find ourselves wondering where it went and how did we get into 2010 already? Holidays come and go and its never going to be the same without you. We miss the family gatherings at your house. You were the glue that held us all together. Your spirit is always with us and family celebrations are fondly remembered.
You will be happy to know that Josh and Catie came to dinner this past Sunday. It was such fun to have them and we vowed to not let so much time go by again. You would be proud of Josh - he's so grown up and busy with his life's plans. A really nice son you have raised. You would be proud of your 3 children and the choices they have made during the difficult times they face in growing up.
We love and miss you Brenda. Your dear presence is felt always.

Today November 24th would have been your 55th birthday. I'm wondering if you celebrated with Grampy. It was his birthday today - Nov. 24th too. What does a birthday cake in heaven taste and look like? We miss you so much and now our friend Barbara Brissman has joined you on this past Saturday November 21st. Dear Brenda,
On Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009 your TIP family hosted the third annual Brenda Memorial Walk in your honor. As in the previous 2 years it was a huge success and so many familiar faces again joined in to make your Healing Garden a reality. I am sure you were there to gently touch everyone in your own special way. The beautiful pink granite bench engraved with your name has been placed in the Garden. It is beautiful and many race participants visited the location afterwards. But, again, you were there in spirit to show your approval.
Time continues to pass and I miss you more each day. Not a day goes by that somehow a whisp of a memory, a reminder, a gentle fleeting touch brings me back to so many endearing days of the past.

Dearest Brenda,
Another year and another October weekend at Loon Mt. The tradition you started so many years ago carries on. Jeanne B. continues to gather your friends together for a sort of retreat from an otherwise hectic pace. Does this all sound familiar?
Barb B and daughter Donna came with me for the day yesterday and we met Jeanne and Annie there. It was a day for remembering, travelling the same paths you would take each year. We even ate lunch at your favorite place -The Gypsy Cafe. But then - I am sure you were there helping us order our lunch. A little shopping followed and back to the condo for tea and cake.
How wonderful that we can gather and reminisce about the fun times you all had thru the years. Loon Mountain is still a magical place.
Brenda, I miss you more than words can say. Time doesn't make it any easier.

Have you given Marlene the entire guided tour yet? I can just picture, the two of you- wish I was a fly on the wall for that reunion!
Another sweet, tired warrior journeys home to find joy and unconditional love waiting. The suffering is just a memory now- and the incredible love of the past, present and future envelop her. She drops her sword, dons her wings and soars torward the sounds of heaven.

Dear Brenda,
So much time has passed and we're missing you more than ever. You are with us in many ways each and every day. Your dear childhood friend, Marlene Sheehan has crossed the bridge and is now with you. Her battle with cancer ended at 3AM on June 28th this past weekend. She has taken with her on her journey a picture you had given her. I cannot tell you how many stories about you she has shared with me the past 2 years. True friends are forever!

Its Oct. 4, 2008 and soon it will be two years since you joined the angels.
There is another walkathon for you coming up on Nov 2. All of your family and friends will be there to show their commitment to you and your wish for a "healing garden". It was a huge success last year and this year will be even better. I know you will be present in the hearts of all of us, cheering on the runners and walkers who will be there in your honor. Jayan and your TIP friends, again, have planned a great day.

Its been nineteen months since you left.
I can feel you guiding us thru our lives and showing each of us how to make a difference the way you would have.
Many times I feel despair and then I realize that you are there in the spirit of all of us.
In my garden I have planted a pink flowering dogwood for you. Everyone knows its our Brenda tree. I look at it and dream off into another place where you are.

Yup, I did call you Barbie every time you came out on the slopes, I was jealous cuz I NEVER looked like you did, and all the heads that you turned, jeeeze
but the fun we had... i miss it all...
I speak of you so often and tell all my grieving families about you, show your picture and they grieve for me ...
and I am sure on my lonely nights out on the road, that you are riding with me... hope you are cuz I talk to you all the time and ask your advice in some tough situations.
