I see remember Bruce after sharing a stage with him in Ireland many years ago. Also a second get together in Boston.
Such a wonderful gentleman.
I still have a recording of the enjoyable after glow we had in Dublin

A year on from his passing and I still have vivid memories of the unforgettable time I had with Bruce in 2003 and 2004 when he brought his wonderful choir "The Mastersingers" to Dublin.

My name is Keith Young,
Conductor Emeritus of Dublin Welsh Male Voice Choir, Dublin, Ireland.
I am deeply saddened by the news of Bruce's passing last month. I invited Bruce and his wonderful Mastersingers to visit Ireland in 2003. We performed a joint concert in Dublin to a packed audience. The Mastersingers had entered the prestigious International Male Voice competition in Llangollen in Wales that year and being a Welshman fit was a privilege to advise him on certain aspects of the Welsh test piece. His choir gained first prize which was remarkable feat against top class choirs from around the world. My abiding memory is the fact that he took the trouble to ring me in Dublin, from Wales, to inform me of the result.
I met him again the following year in Boston when the Dublin Welsh toured Canada and the United States.
A wonderful Gentleman and Musician.

I first developed my love of pipe organs and their music primarily thanks to Bruce. He was the organist at Second Congregational Church in Westfield, Massachusetts from 1979-1984. I was young then and was enchanted by the way he could make that organ sing. Such a nice, down to earth guy too. I was so pleased when he came back to visit and played the organ once more a few years back. Thank you Bruce. I'll never forget you.
