Bruce Shepherd Obituary

Of Beverly, MA, August 5, 83. Husband of Madolyn L. (Wescott) Shepherd. Mr. Shepard was a Navy Veteran of World War II, a graduate of Northeastern University and was employed for thirty-five years at the General Electric Company in Lynn. Also survived by a son, Bruce G. Jr. and his wife Terry of Beverly, a daughter, Linda Shepherd and her husband Brian Cabral of Topsfield, and three grandchildren, Justin Shepherd, Nathaniel and Olivia Cabral. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, in St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 4 Ocean St., Beverly at 11 A.M. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribuions may be made to the Shriners Burns Institute, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114 or to the Building Fund of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Beverly, MA 01915. Uncle Bruce,
You taught me how to play cribbage and gave me the joy of reading. I really enjoyed spending time with you in the summers through high school and college. I wish had spent more time with you in later years as well. Thanks.

Mr. Shepherd,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
