I will always remember the day I packed up to leave for South Carolina and was accompanied by my cousin Carol. I'm not sure if Uncle Norman arranged that or not, but he must have known that I needed some guidance along the way and convinced her to go with me. She may have volunteered. I will never know for sure. I will always have that memory of us driving from Boston to Charleston, South Carolina. Long drive in a little cobalt blue VW Bug. I had an ironing board hanging out the back window. We stayed in the Air Force Barracks where Jenny was stationed at the time. That would never be allowed today. Carol was up for the adventure. I will always remember her as being kind and full of fun. She was always interested in family and I miss all the gatherings we used to have in the old days.
We will all miss you Carol.

Shirley, Kathy, Donnie and Andrea,
My heart is heavy with sadness. We had plans on going on day trips once I got home from PEI but God doesn't take our plans in consideration. Carol was a kind caring person who I will truly miss. May she find peace and rest in His mansion not made with hands. May you remember her kindness and love she had for each of you
