I am deeply saddened by the loss of Great-Aunt Celia.
I have such fond memories of the many trips I took with my grandma to visit her. My favorite memory is when the three of us went to the movies to see The Lion King. I remember worrying she wouldn't be able to follow the animated film. She reassured me with a laugh, saying, "It's okay, I can read their lips!" This memory captures her sense of humor and the love for family she had. My deepest love and condolences go out to all who loved Celia.
She will be greatly missed!

All of our condolences to Debbie, Ray, Ambrose and Paul.
Aunt Celia was definitely one of a kind....from her great laugh to her skill at the Scrabble board, from her sharp mind to her expertise baking Fat Archie´s, from her wonderful written letters to her love of the clan.
And not only were Debbie, Ray, Ambrose and Paul blessed to have her as their mother, we were all blessed to have her as our aunt, Gramma, sister, great-aunt etc.
Celia always was always a welcoming host at #28 Boylston St, the kettle was always ready and her kitchen was always warm, cozy and ready for chats with her until late at night.
Thank you Celia for all your written letters and for the endless beatings you gave me in Scrabble!
R.I.P in Gods care Celia!

Very fond memories of spending time with great aunt Celia as a child. She was so loving, warm and inviting. Remember giggling with her and grandma, playing scrabble and feeling her sisterly, auntly- and great aunt love.

Celia was the model of kindness, generosity, and perseverance. One always felt loved in her presence, especially when she was feeding you butterscotch pie and turning away so she couldn´t hear you when you tried saying you were full. I can only imagine how good that butterscotch pie is now for everyone she´s with now.

Love to our beloved MacNeil cousins as you mourn Aunt Celia. We loved her so, and all of you. The light and love she brought to Duggan Avenue and St.Rose was the best example of grace and loyalty for all of us. Our visits to Boston were also filled with her hospitality and ease. She was one of a kind and one of my heroes. What a gift she was to all of us. Thinking of you all.

Our deepest condolences to our precious cousins in Boston. Aunt Celia´s love and light transcended borders and the wastes of seas and time. A letter from Aunt Celia was a treasure and a visit was as a gift from Heaven. We will plant an apple tree on the old farm in St Rose so that its beauty and promise can be seen from the sea and the mountain. A chuid d´ Pharras Dha... to her, her share of Paradise.
