Charlene May Lyon

61, of Sun City, AZ and formerly of Chelmsford died on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007 after a brief illness. She was the wife of David Lyon of Sun City, AZ. She was born in Lowell on August 30, 1946 the daughter the late Doris I. (Badmington) Lombardi who died in 2003, and Charles W. Lombardi who survives her and resides in Sun City, AZ.. She attended Chelmsford Schools and graduated from Brigham Young University in Utah. Prior to her illness she had worked in the banking industry. Charlene was a member of the Rainbow Girls, the order of the Eastern Star, and the Chamber of Commerce in both Massachusetts and Arizona, the Massachusetts Savings Bank Women's Association and the West Valley Art Museum in Arizona. Besides her husband and her father both of Arizona, she is survived by a cousin Beverly Parker of Chelmsford. She was the sister of the late Charles W. Lombardi Jr. who died at the age of five Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 5 to 7pm at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St. Chelmsford, MA 01824. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Funeral Home. Interment in Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell.
