Charlie & his family were icons in Milton where the Metrakas family operated 'Metrakas' Deli'. Went to school with Charlie and will always remember his sense of humor and upbeat attitude! His Dad, Ted was like an uncle to my and many people's families.
RIP Charlie....thank you for all you and your family did for the town!! :-(

Was very saddened to learn of the passing of Charlie last week. We have been tenants of Charlie for roughly twenty years. It was always a pleasure to talk with him over the years on many occasions. I just spoke with him a few weeks before his passing and had a very heartfelt conversation with him about the twenty years we knew each other with a few laughs before we hung up.
As I lost my best friend (Dad) right before I moved into his place at a young age it was always nice hearing a fatherly voice when we talked. Prayers and our condolences to the whole Metrakas family from the bottom of our hearts. Rest in peace Charlie.
