Bubba, Bubbs, Baba Ganoushe
Thank you for many years of friendship, sailing camaraderie, and much, much more. You were not only physically large, but larger than life itself, especially in spirit. So many over the top tales, I tell pals about your antics, are just not believable to them: wish you were still around to back me up. It's hard to believe you're gone, and much more sad and empty than a 'candle in the wind'. I know everyone that knew it, is going to miss that big smile, that voracious appetite for life, and I'm especially going to miss that special raspy voice with a Southie accent calling out 'Markie Mark'. No one was quite like you in life: 'fun loving, and absolutely fearless . I will miss you and hope you rest in Peace.

Nancy and Stan, I hope that as you think of Bubba you will also keep in your hearts and minds the image of him driving the boat on Newfound Lake. He told me he loved it up there, and it was easy to see that he did. There are no words to make this any easier...but hopefully happy memories will help a little. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Bubba was a fantastic guy, always so full of jokes and laughs. I'll never forget the banter as he and Stan helped us move a giant mattress up 3 flights of winding stairs; we'd have slept in the living room without him. Our hearts break for the Kostka family, and we send you all our love over this difficult time. Love always, Zoe and Chris xxxxx

Nancy I am so sorry for your loss.. if anyone knows I know. I won't be able to make it to the week due to my surgery I've been out of work since February. If you ever need anything please feel free to call me. I love you and may Bubba rest in peace
