CHRISTOPHER LEONARD Obituary
Chris, aka "Crooner", met his beautiful bride when he was six years old. They grew up across the street from each other in South Weymouth and eventually found each other again in 2002. Chris's pride and joy were his four beautiful children. He was a dedicated and incredible father to them.
Chris was an avid Boston sports fan. He loved the game of golf and played when he could. Chris's greatest pride was coaching his son's local baseball team.
Beloved husband of Colleen Leonard. Devoted father of Cameron, Shaelyn and Sarah, and also Amanda of Falmouth, MA and her mother Michelle Tucci-Sanborn of Quincy.
Dedicated son of Jack and Janet Leonard of Weymouth, MA.
Loving sibling of Michael of Portland, ME his and former wife Lois of Dedham, MA; Kelly Zack and husband John of Hopkinton; Mark and wife Beth of Hingham; and Julie Piantedosi and Lewis of Canton.
Adoring son-in-law to the late Joseph Grant and Helen Fuller. Cherished brother-in-law of Joe Grant and his wife Katherine of Soquel, CA; Gary Grant of Los Angeles, CA; Laurie Grant of Cape Coral, FL.
Immensely proud uncle to his many adoring nieces and nephews. A loyal and genuine friend to countless others.
The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate his life on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street, ROCKLAND, MA. I am sending thoughts and prayers to the entire Leonard Family. I was buddies with both Michael and Chris when we were kids in South Weymouth. After a 20 year separation I wound up working with Chris at Pepsi Cola and our friendship was renewed. As the story always goes life gets in the way and we take on new jobs and different paths but at least with social media we were able to stay in touch. This is heartbreaking news and I am very sorry for your loss.
