CHRISTOPHER PAQUIN Obituary

PAQUIN, Christopher M. 47, passed away Friday August 5, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Mary Lou (Coughlin) Paquin and his three children Rebecca, Jacob and Amanda Paquin, his mother Kathleen Paquin, brother Jonathan Paquin and his wife Katherine Fratus Paquin, his sisters-in-law Joanne and Alicia Coughlin and niece Lainie and nephew Henry Paquin. Chris was born January 17, 1969 at the US Air Force Base in Tachikawa, Japan. His early years were spent in Boise, Idaho, Sumter, South Carolina and then Blackstone and Uxbridge, Massachusetts. He and his wife Mary Lou lived briefly in Milford before settling in Grafton. Chris devoted much of his life to the community he loved and Boy Scout Troop 106 in Grafton where he was Scout Master and received the Silver Beaver Award in 2015 for his distinguished service. He appreciated the beauty of the world around him and captured it often through his love of photography and spent as much time as he could fishing, camping and hiking. For more than 23 years he worked as an Information Technology Director at Sun Life Financial in Wellesley. Chris will be remembered for his love of family and the outdoors and especially for his sharp humor and his natural gift as a story teller. In lieu of flowers, please honor him with a memorial donation to Grafton Boy Scout Troop 106, 17 Waterville St., N. Grafton, MA 01536. All are welcome to gather with Chris's family and friends Saturday August 13th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., N. Grafton, MA 01536. Memorial services and burial will be private at his family's convenience. May the God who binds up the broken-hearted and who comforts all who mourn, comfort the family and friends during this difficult time. Isaiah. 61:1, 2.

I worked side-by-side with Chris in Cub Scouts and Little League for many years, and I respected and admired him immensely. Chris was a true friend and a leader. I learned so much from him. It is with a heavy heart that I say good-bye to him. I will miss him, as will the community at large. He touched so many lives around him from young kids to other adults, family, and friends. Peace. Our deepest sympathy to the Paquin family. May your memories live forever in your hearts.
We will always be grateful to Chris for all he did for our Pack. He was always just a phone call away and had great advice whenever we asked for it. From Popcorn to Pinewood Derbys, Chris was there with positive encouragement and smiles to all.

I've worked with Chris and enjoyed working with him for many years. He had an inquisitive mind; was always ready to challenge the norm and he had a great sense of humour. He was always willing to give me movie reviews on the latest sci-fi flick.

His loss is a tragic loss. My condolences to his family.
