CHRISTOPHER WONG

WONG, Christopher Dr. Christopher Ryan Wong, 36, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, following complications from pancreatic cancer. Born in Boston, MA, on August 28, 1989, and raised in Framingham, Chris brought light and joy to all who knew him. He was the cherished son of Winston and Agnes Wong and older brother to Adam Wong. Chris earned his B.S. from The University of Rochester and his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Boston University, where his passion for science and discovery shone brightly. Chris always put everyone else before himself. He had a rare gift for making others feel profoundly valued and supported. Always an advisor to his friends, his humility and gentle warmth spread widely and he will be remembered for a life lived with optimism, deep purpose, and generosity. A Celebration of Life, Visitation, and Service will be held at J.S. Waterman Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial St., BOSTON, MA. Valet parking will be available on both days. Monday, October 20, 2025 - Visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Tuesday, October 21, 2025 - Visitation from 9:00 to 10:30 AM, Celebration of Life/Services 10:30 to 11:30 AM, followed by Burial at Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston, MA.
