CLIFFORD LEBLANC Obituary

LeBLANC, Clifford T. Devoted husband and father Clifford T. LeBlanc, 82, of Hollis, NH and Waltham, MA, passed away on February 8 at the Veterans' Home in Tilton, NH, where he had been well cared for for nearly three years while suffering from Alzheimer's Disease. He was born in Margaree, Nova Scotia, on December 16, 1934, son of the late Joseph and Cecile (Lefort) LeBlanc, and emigrated to Waltham, MA. as a teenager. He joined the Air Force, and while stationed in Ohio, met his future wife, Patricia (Mueller) LeBlanc. They married on August 27, 1955 in Delphos, Ohio at St. John's Church. During his 5 year military service, he spent one year overseas in the Korean conflict. He and his wife settled in Waltham, where they raised their family, and lived for 50 of the 61 years of their marriage. They were members of the French Church and also St. Charles. Clifford worked for many years in the field of sales, a career that suited his personality. He also enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots. The couple moved to Hollis, NH in 2006 to be closer to their beloved grandchildren, and he and Patricia became members of St. Joseph the Worker Parish and attended Mass daily. Besides his wife, Patricia, he is survived by six children, Theresa LeBlanc of Nashua, Amy LeBlanc of Arlington, MA, Timothy LeBlanc of Nashua, Annette Cate and her husband Robert of Pepperell, MA, Suzanne LeBlanc-Price of Chattanooga, TN, and Karen LeBlanc of New Orleans, LA. He is also survived by two grandchildren, David and James Cate, his brother John LeBlanc, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Clifford LeBlanc, Jr. and his brother Joseph Arthur LeBlanc. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, from 9:00 AM-10:15 AM at the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., NASHUA. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 W. Hollis St., Nashua. Military honors will be held immediately following Mass. Condolences may be offered at: www.zisssweeneyfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's' Hospital or a Veterans' organization of your choice.
