Clifford A. Smith

SMITH, Clifford A. 75, died Thursday, November 20, 2008, in Milford. He was the husband of Dolores (Kennedy) Smith, to whom he was married for 48 years. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late John F. and Myrtle (Duncan) Smith. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corp. and for many years worked as a technical writer at Raytheon and The Foxboro Company. He was a founding member of the Hopkinton Hornets Hockey Club and a loving and faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Lee Ann Sousa and her husband Mark, and his granddaughter Katelyn, all of Hopkinton. He is also survived by his sisters Ruth McClair and her husband Alec of MD, Laurel Darling and her husband Frank of NY, and Virginia Marinelli of N. Andover. The Funeral Service will be held in the Callanan-Cronin Funeral Home, 34 Church St., HOPKINTON on Saturday, November 22 at 2:15 PM. Calling hours will be 11 AM. to 2 PM prior to the Funeral Service.
