Of Brookline, on Friday, February 25, 2005, at the age of 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Irving Flax. Loving mother of Joan Fields & her husband Dr. Robert of Stamford, CT and Jane Lewis & her husband John of Brookline. Cherished grandmother of Steven, Andrea, Ellen, Kate, Mindy & John and great grandmother of eleven. Dear sister of Dr. Irving Romanow of Newton, Lee Romanow of Natick, and the late David, Henry, and Allan D. Romanow. Also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. Services at Levine Chapel, 470 Harvard St., BROOKLINE on Sunday, February 27 at 9:30 AM. Memorial Observance through Sunday evening and continuing Monday & Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at her late residence.
