CEDRONE, Daniel J., Jr. 74 years, of Marblehead, died Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a brief illness. He was surrounded by family and friends throughout his hospitalization. Dan was employed as a consultant for Corbus, an aerospace company based out of Ohio. He also had his own consulting firm based out of Lynn. Prior to that he was at the General Electric Company for thirty years where he loved working and was well respected by his peers. Dan also started Marblehead Memorials, a monument business that his son, Daniel, now operates. Dan was the husband of Cynthia (Lord) Cedrone. In addition he leaves his son Daniel J. Cedrone III and his wife Megan of Marblehead and their two children DJ and Thomas, and his daughter Carolyn Cedrone of Salem. He also leaves a cousin Andrew Santella and his wife Renee of Marblehead, and many loving family members and friends who adored him. His funeral will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 9:00 AM from the Solimine Funeral Home, 67 Ocean Street (Rte. 1A) LYNN, followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady, Star of the Sea Church, Marblehead at 10:00. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Directions and guestbook at www.solimine.com

I just heard about Dans passing at Christmas Eve Mass and Fred and I as well as our children are so very sorry. We send our condolensmto your entire family. Dan was a wonderful man who will be missed by all.

I am so very sorry to hear of Danny's passing. He was my very first boss at GE. I was hired at GE in Cincinnati on a training program, and then had to move to Lynn for my first assignment. He was like a father to me and really looked out for me - always making sure I was being safe in this new city...making sure I had found a suitable place to live, that I had directions to wherever I was going, etc. I respected him very much and truly enjoyed working with him. He was also fun and had a real love of life.
He will be terribly missed by so many.

Our deepest sympathies to Cindy and the family. I just had a pleasant walk with Dan in the neighborhood within the last month. He was out walking the dog and entertained me greatly with stories and news from the neighborhood. He will be missed.

My sincerest condolences to his family. I am so saddened to hear of Danny Boy's passing.
He and I didn't see each other often through the years, but time and distance had no bearing over our love for each other. My siblings and I spent many a summers weekend in Quincy by the pool, with my Aunt Jenny, and all of our families. They were some of the best times of my life. Danny was older than me, and I always thought of him as the cool, handsome cousin, I adored him. My father and his mom were very close, he loved Danny Boy like a son. Years later after my father's passing, I was working as a waitress in Malden, and a man came in and sat with his head down, I asked if he would like coffee, when he looked up and I saw his eyes (the same eyes as our grandmother's) I said Danny Boy? We both cried tears of joy and reminisced about the past. It was so meaningful to me at that time in my life to see him, he resembled my father in many ways. More recently while vacationing here, he invited my husband and I to come to Naples, Florida to meet for dinner, the pictures are of our visit. I am so very thankful they made the time for us. It was the last time I got to see him, and I will cherish this night. I wish his family to be able to find some comfort in the future through your memories of him, may you continue to feel his Love that lives on. I am so very sorry. Carol (Santella) and Michael Fenzl
