CLANCY, Daniel H. Jr., M.D. Of Wellesley Hills November 2, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Johanna (Kosachook) Clancy. Devoted father of Ellen Jo Levesque and her husband Dominique of Wellesley Hills and Daria Lee Clancy of Wayland. Loving grandfather of Christelle, Stephanie, Geoffrey and Alex Levesque, all of Wellesley Hills. Brother of Dr. Robert E. Clancy of Hingham and West Yarmouth and the late John F. and William E. Clancy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., (Rt. 16) WELLESLEY, Saturday, Nov. 8th at 10 AM. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Paul's Church, Wellesley, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Friday from 4-8 PM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Daniel's memory to the charity of your choice. Graduate of Weymouth H.S. 1936, College of the Holy Cross 1940, and Tufts University School of Medicine 1943. He was Chief Resident in Surgery at Boston City Hospital and later practiced medicine in other Boston area hospitals. Served as a naval surgeon in WWII and the Korean War. Officer in United States Naval Reserve. Member of the Wellesley Country Club. Parishioner for many years at St. Paul's Church in Wellesley. Past member of New England Orthopedic Society, President's Council of Holy Cross, Tufts University School of Medicine Alumni Association. For directions & guestbookwww.gfdoherty.com George F. Dr. Clancy,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and the Korean War and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
