Three years ago today our lives were turned upside down. I don't know how Dad, Adam, and I have survived losing you but we are trying hard every day to cope with your murder. A year already, it seems impossible. You still pop in my mind all the time, certain places and things just bring me right to you! Whenever I drive down 13th Street, when the Red Sox are playing, every time I see a black escort (which has been A LOT lately). We all took good care of you parents when they were here! You were truley blessed with the most loving and fantastic parents! I had the most amazing time with them here, even though they were short stays I learned so much about the great man I knew you were! I wish life was different in so many ways but it is what it is. You changed a part of me and gave me some new family, so for that I am forever greatful! I can't wait for the day that I can go and see where you grew up and and where you forever rest in peace! I love and miss you everyday! Keep an eye on me, sometimes I need it!!!!!

It doesn't seem possible that it has been 1 year since you were taken from us. It still feels like yesterday. Your friends have been wonderful. When we went to Omaha for the trial we met them. They are great. They were with us everyday and also were there with us when we went back for the sentencing. They still keep in touch with us. When we are with them or talk to them it is like still having a part of you with us. We love you and miss you more each day.

Well the holidays are here and I am still missing you a lot. I think about you all the time, especially when Boston won the world series. Im sure you were smiling as was I. This is probably going to be a very hard time for your family. I find it hard to be thankful when your loved ones are not around to celebrate with you.
