DANIEL MURRIN Obituary

Murrin, Daniel T. 73, husband of Joanne E. (Patturelli) Murrin, died Thursday evening at Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester. Born in So. Boston, son of the late Edward and Bridget (Walsh) Murrin, he lived in Stoneham for many years and was a graduate of Stoneham High School. Daniel was a Gloucester resident for the past 30 years. He was a former police officer for the Town of Stoneham for several years. He was a North Shore general contractor and was the proprietor of Murrin Construction, Inc. Daniel was an avid golfer and enjoyed boating and fishing. He and his wife Joanne celebrated 54 years of marriage this past year. Surviving him in addition to his wife are his children, Daniel J. Murrin and his wife Lisa of Gloucester; Brian E. Murrin of Everett; Peter D. Murrin and his wife Wendy of Gloucester; Paul B. Murrin and his wife Lisa of Reading; and Jane A. Donovan of Gloucester; Two brothers, Edward Murrin of Stoneham and Robert Murrin of Tewksbury; Five sisters, Gladys Emmons of Falmouth; Myra MacDonald of Belmont; Katherine Connolly of No. Reading; Anita Dorsey of No. Reading; and Shirley Brown of Stoneham; Four Grandchildren, Daniel E. Murrin, Matthew D. Murrin, Rachel E. Murrin and Spencer Murrin; several Nieces and Nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 3 to 6 PM at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, BEVERLY. A funeral service will be held following visiting hours at 6 pm at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Contributions may be made in his memory to the American Lung Association, 393 Maple Street, Springfield, MA 01105.
