COHEN, David Harvey Age 89, of Naples, FL, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
David was all about family and giving. The love was reciprocated by his family. He is survived by his wife of almost 44 years, Pat; sons, Dr. Neal, Boruch (Ita Leah), Leibel (Tanya); stepchildren, Lysa (Kyle), Adam Kasha, and Steven Kasha (Bonnie Byam); 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. David is also survived by his brother, Arthur (Roberta). Education meant everything to him.
He graduated with a B.A. from Yale University and received his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. He made sure that all his children and grandchildren's education were provided for. His generosity is legendary. For over 30 years he ran a successful men's "Mr. Coats" and women's, "Mr. Coats for Her" clothing manufacturing company. His business afforded him an opportunity to travel.
He loved cruising to exotic lands with Pat and they made worldwide friends. He was an avid sports fan! A true New Englander, he loved his Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, and Patriots. He watched any sports event his remote could find, from the comfort of his favorite recliner. His dry sense of humor, sharp wit and winning smile were his trademark. He was a brilliant bridge partner, joke teller, golfer, boater, and ice cream eater. He loved life and will be greatly missed.
