DAVID LOOMIS Obituary

LOOMIS, David Warren Longtime resident of Needham, passed away peacefully, on June 5, 2025. Born in Gardner, Massachusetts in 1944, Dave was the son of the late Donald and Elizabeth Loomis and the older brother of Duncan Loomis (Tina) and Diane Tice (Steve). Dave is also survived by his aunt, Carolyn Dean; and many cousins and nieces and nephews. Dave was married to his beloved wife, Ann for nearly 60 years. He was the loving dad of Peter Loomis (Kelly), Karen Zermani (Rich) and Ronna Goslin (Michael). Dave was the proud and doting grandpa of Paige, Nathan and Kelsey Loomis and Nicole, Jason and Luke Zermani. Dave retired from General Dynamics (formerly GTE) as Vice President of Engineering, after a multi-decade career. Dave will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Memorial Service to celebrate Dave's life will be held later this summer. Donations in his memory may be made to The Connecticut Sea Music Festival, an event that Dave enjoyed for decades, at Maritime Music & Tradition Society, P.O. Box 611, Essex CT 06426.
