Dear Joanie,
My heart and prayers go out to you as you mourn David. Your care and love for him should be a consolation to you now. You were there for him always. Our faith knows he is in a far better place than the suffering he went through these past months.
I am so sorry I will not be there to celebrate his life in the Mass on Saturday (Joan will explain), but I will be thinking of you all and praying for you.
Love and prayers.
