David Perl Obituary

Of Twin Circle Drive, South Windsor, CT, died Sunday, November 30, 2003. Born in Oak Park, IL, he was the cherished son of Gerri (Shaw) Perl Apter, the late Dr. Jeffrey W. Perl and stepson of Philip Peter Apter. David was the beloved grandson of Anne Shaw of Chestnut Hill, MA, the late Attorney Joseph L. Shaw, the late Gustave and Belle Perl and Rosalind Apter of West Hartford. He was the devoted brother of Monica S. Perl and her husband Dr. Brandon Isaacson of Ann Arbor, MI and stepbrother of Marsha Kaller-Apter of Bolton, CT. David will be greatly missed by all including his uncles, Dr. Howard M. Shaw, Dr. Michael M. Perl and Lawrence Perl and aunt Sandra Lipsky. He also leaves an extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a graduate of Hall High School, attended the University of Massachusetts and currently was the Vice President of Eastland Title Services, Inc. in South Windsor, CT. His interests were music, literature and film. His loss leaves a great void in the lives of all who knew David. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at 12:00 Noon in Beth El Temple Cemetery, Avon, CT with Rabbi Mendel Samuels officiating. A memorial period will be observed following the Funeral through Friday 4:00 PM at the home of his parents, 2009 Mill Pond Drive, South Windsor, CT. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford, CT. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, 138 Preston Avenue, P.O. Box 1004, Meriden, CT 06450. Dear Gerri, Peter, Monica, and Marsha..We have been away and only just found out about David's passing. How heartsick we are for you. He was such a sweet boy. We wish you strength and good memories.
