Dave Prinn was a special guy from a young age. We were neighbors and he was a kid who was always someone who lifted your day. A special person to encounter who generated smiles and joy. Our prayers for him and his family. With fondness and heavy hearts, The Tierney´s

Dave was an absolutely magnetic guy that you just loved to be around. He always made me laugh and had a personality that filled every room he entered. I´m so sad for his loss and send my deepest sympathies to his sons and all his family and friends.

Dave was not only a fiercely loyal friend, but also one of the funniest and smartest people I´ve known. I carry many special memories from our time working together at Mount Ida day camp throughout high school and college. He had an incredible gift for bringing people together.
Although we lost touch over the years, I could always count on a hilarious text or unexpected phone call to pick up right where we left off. One thing that never changed was how proud he was of Jack and Freddie - he lit up talking about their achievements and loved watching them on the soccer and baseball fields.
Dave´s bright energy and quick wit made the world feel lighter. He left us far too soon, but his spirit is a lasting reminder to laugh often, love deeply, and hold tight to the people who matter.
My heart is with the entire Prinn family. I hope your memories of Dave - his humor, warmth, and pride as a father and friend bring comfort in the days ahead.

I am heartbroken to learn of Dave's passing. Ever since we met as counselors at Mount Ida Day Camp, he was one of the funniest, smartest people I have ever met. I will never forget his epic impressions of all of Mount Ida's biggest personalities (IYKYK), and his boundless energy and intellect. When I visited him at Duke, I remember being so impressed he already had a million friends and activities, even at this big school teeming with similarly motivated superstars. Of course he did! We fell out of touch when he moved to Chicago, and I was happy when he reached out to me last year, and we caught up for a long time on the phone. Now, of course, I wish that we had more time. Sending my condolences to Dave's bereaved family and friends. What a tremendous loss.

Dave was an absolute force of nature. A unifier of different personalities (in our fraternity at Duke, and my guess is everywhere else). A friend to everyone. He is a completely unforgettable soul who we are all better for having known. And that laugh...
He was so proud of his boys, whom I never met. I hope they know their dad was one of a kind, and so loved. I am so sorry for your loss.
