Dear Renee, Greg and Daniel,

I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss Dave's warmth and wit. He had such a thirst for knowledge. How he was able to get ahead of us on the bike trip and manage to film everyone with humorous commentary as we huffed and puffed I will never know. He was gracious to the end. I miss him.

A cherished colleague, a very talented appreciated physician, and a wonderful friend. I warmly remember our days as training surgeons at the Tufts New England Medical Center and later our many years as staff members at South Shore Hospital. He will be sorely missed.

Dr. Rudolph inspired us all to be better clinicians. Watching him with patients was watching a maestro. Moms upset and terrified that their beautiful baby was going deaf - Dr. Rudolph calmed and reassured with such warmth and compassion. It was beautiful to observe. He used to say it only takes 3 minutes for a patient to feel they have been heard and taken care of. I think of his wise counsel every day. He was also my sinus surgeon and I will be forever grateful to him. I thank him every time I eat ice cream without pain! Truly a lovely human being. His memory, his impact on so many lives, surely a blessing. With my deepest condolences.

To Renee and family from Susan Moore,
It is with great sadness hearing of David´s passing. As you know David and I met many years ago at Tufts New England Medical Center. He was in ENT and I was starting out as a Speech-Language Pathologist. We worked many years together with fond memories. He was always the ENT I would refer to for friends and family. With deepest sympathy and love, Susan

Working with, learning from, and knowing David was a privilege. He was a gentleman, a caring physician of ample talents, a teacher, a wonderful storyteller, a philanthropist and, most importantly, a true humanitarian. He led and served by example and inspired others to do the same; his commitment to Health Outreach Foundation and the people of Constanza is a shining example. David's life and work touched so many. He will be missed.

My condolences to the Rudolph family on the loss of David. I knew him well as a colleague and "work friend" from SSH. Shared many fun days on ski trips and many serious work days while serving on various committees. In my heart I will miss him dearly. R.I.P. David.

David was a real mensch. When I started at South Shore Hospital in a stressful situation, David was the first to make me feel truly welcome, and during my first few years at SSH, was infinitely supportive. May his memory be a blessing.
