DAVID JACOB WEINSTEIN

1936 - 2025

WEINSTEIN, David Jacob Born in Boston, on June 11, 1936, the son of Lewis and Selma Weinstein. His childhood was spent in Brookline and Newton, MA. After High School, he moved to the New York area, where he became a successful salesperson of printing supplies. His success was due to his engaging personality. David could put you at ease with a warm smile and a keen wit. In NY, on New Year's Eve in 1963, he met his life partner, Elizabeth Franceschini, who survives him. They had a wonderful life together, eventually marrying at the turn of the century. They shared a love of running, with the Boston and New York Marathons and other races under their belts. They lived in Manhattan, The Jersey Shore, Oxford, Maryland and Key West, Florida. Along the way, they became an accomplished boating couple. They owned, in succession, three power boats, the largest a 42-footer and transited the Inter-Coastal Waterway from Maryland to Key West, seven times. David died on May 12, 2025. Along with his wife, Liz; he leaves behind his loving sister, Louise, her husband, Paul; his niece, Karen Moore; great-nephews, David and Steven,; and many cousins and dear friends. He will be missed.
