To the McNamara Family,

So sorry to hear of the passing of Debbie. I have great memories of her growing up and hanging around w my sister Sandy. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. She was one of the great ones and will be greatly missed.

Memories in my Pocket

I have memories in my pocket
They rattle among the change,
My memories of you are treasures,
I carry wherever I go,
They are stored in bits and pieces and parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone,
Yes I have memories in my pocket like so much other stuff i keep there,
But of all the treasures I have
It's the memories of you that are the most precious and dear...
You will be greatly missed and always loved

McNamara family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Deb babysat for my sister's children and was so good to them when they lived next door. I remember shortly after I met her she was diagnosed with Hodgekins Disease. I've always admired her strength and perseverance. Sincerely, Shirley and Bill Blanchard

Dear Laureen, Bill & families...
Rich & I were so saddened to hear of the loss of your Sister.
Laureen, you told me what an amazing Sister & Woman Debbie is, but I had no idea of how many fabulous things Debbie has been involved in & selfishly accomplished! Wow, she was such an amazing woman, a true inspiration, you must be so proud of her!!!
Like most families, we too have a loved one recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer! It is our hope, that we can help pass along your Sister Debbie's "Good Will Message" , about Breast Cancer Awareness & to help Raise Funds towards a Cure!!
Sending you Our Sincerest Sympathy, Love & Prayers, for the loss of your Sister Debbie.
Please also accept our Gratitude for Deb's effortless years of service while she volunteered to raise awareness & money toward this disease....May she now & Forever Rest in Peace & Never Be Forgotten!
Fondly,

Rick & Liz Middleton

Although we had met briefly over the past 10 years or so, we appreciated each other's experiences and she was frequently in my thoughts.
Debbie was an extraordinary woman who always exuded positive feelings. No matter how difficult things were for her, she'd be thinking about the welfare of others.
My sincere sympathies to Laureen, Bill and all of Debbie's family.

Debbie is one of the most courageous people I have ever known. I spent many, many hours working with her, often after she recently received medical news that frankly, would've made me curl up in a ball and cry. If it scared her, she never showed it. I have always been awed by that.
I'm proud to have been her friend and her memory and spirit will always be an inspiration.

I had the good fortune to work with Deb as a DCR park ranger at the State House in the early 2000s. Like all who were lucky enough to know her, I can attest to Deb's vibrant personality, warm sense of humor, and passion for life. She never let her illnesses limit or define her, but only sought to help others through charitable works and acts of everyday kindness. I will miss her smile, her gentle spirit, and the light reflected in her bright brown eyes. My deepest condolences to Deb's family and her many friends.
