My dear Shirley and family, how sad Jim and I are to hear about Dianas passing. She was one of my greatest heroes of all things, especially education. When I had her for methods in 1980, just before graduating, she schooled me in the art of humility! I had just come back from Student Teaching abroad, and thought I was something else, indeed. Not to her! I still remember our conversation; something to the effect of I dont care where youve been, but right now, youre still an undergrad...... She was spot-on! Diana was one of my spiritual heroes as well, following my music ministry over the 40+ years I did music ministry at the Chapel! I still see her in my mind, in the back-ish pew! I dont remember if she sang a note, but I do know she loved and complemented our efforts regularly! As a neighbor, Ive missed the dog-walking and will forever miss the adorable ranch she called home to herself and her beautiful dogs! Him remembers your calm, quiet way of dealing with rather hot-topics at the Chapel. We all shared a kindred love for that place. Heaven is alive with you, Diana! Were going to be ok without you here! Just wont be the same without you!❤ Peace, Lynne Fournier Curnyn BSC class of 1980

Diana,
She was the most wonderful person I have met since I came to United States. She was my friend, my mom, my tutor. She spent hours and days teaching me to able to attend Bridgewater State. Since I moved to Texas I missed the fun times we had together. Her and her puddles always were there for me and my daughter. She was always ready to help. She would go to me to watch my daughter cheer on the cold days of Bridgewater. It is very hard to say goodbye to special person like Di.
Shirley,
We are here to help you!
Love,
Alessandra
