DIANE ANTON Obituary

ANTON, Diane M. (Miller) Of Lexington, MA, died unexpectedly on April 4, 2022. She was 57. Born in Boston, the daughter of Mary and Paul Miller, Diane grew up surrounded by her siblings and extended family members and friends. She was a graduate of Norwood High School and received a BS degree from Rutgers University. She had a passion and enthusiasm for life which led her to travel extensively around the world. She was a talented athlete, worked as a lifeguard in Falmouth and pursued interests in snow skiing and water skiing. Diane and her daughter Ava participated in numerous water-skiing shows performing graceful acrobatics. In her early career, she worked for New England Telephone and eventually managed their office in Gibraltar. Diane had a successful career in representing publications Time/Life and Individual Investor. Her real passion was photography which she transformed into a vocation. She received a Certificate from Boston University School of Digital Photography and became widely recognized for her talents. Diane Anton Photography was the name of her studio specializing in architectural interiors. Diane is survived by her children, Elias and Ava; her former spouse Joseph; her father Paul Miller of Falmouth; siblings, Maureen Underhill and her husband Donald of Plymouth, Mary Pat Palmer and her husband Fred of Shelburne, VT, Paul Miller of Norton, MA, and Michael Miller of Oak Bluffs, MA; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored. Her mother Mary predeceased her in 2021. Visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., WELLESLEY, on Tuesday, April 12, from 4-7PM, followed by a Memorial Service on Wednesday, April 13, at Saint Peter's Church, 320 Boston Post Road, Weston, MA at 11AM. I´m so sorry to learn of Diane´s death. I have fond memories of her from growing up on Deerfield Road and enjoyed reconnecting on Facebook.
