DONALD ROBERT BLOOD Sr.

BLOOD, Donald Robert Sr. Known to family and friends as Don, passed away unexpectedly, on October 11, 2025. Born on September 21, 1944, in Boston, MA, Don spent his early years in Cambridge and Lexington, before becoming a longtime resident of Littleton and later, Ayer. Donald is survived by his wife of 59 years, Christine Blood; and his sons, Michael and Donald, Jr. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Nick, Jeff, Kate, Matt, Joseph, James and Anna; and many nieces, nephews and close cousins. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Richard, Sr. (Red) and Dora Blood; and his brother, Richard Jr. "Dickie." Please join us to honor Don's life on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 12:00 pm, at Badger Funeral Homes Inc., 347 King Street, LITTLETON, MA 01460. Military Honors for Don will be rendered at the conclusion of the Visitation at 3:00 pm. We encourage all who knew Don to share their memories, stories, and photos on the memorial page.
