PALAIS, Donald Age 80, of West Newton, formerly of Swampscott and New Castle, NH, on September 26, 2008. Dear son of the late Saul and Betty Palais. Beloved husband of Judith (Snyder) of Dover, NH. Devoted father of Lisa Palais and her husband Rick Goldin of Lowell, Jonathan Palais and his wife Fatima Baptista Palais of CT, and Matthew Palais and his fiancee Saowalak Rongkam Of Thailand. Cherished grandfather of Alexis Baptista Palais and Jay Baptista Palais. Dear brother Of Dr. Richard Palais and his wife Dr. Chuu-Lian Terng of Irvine, CA, Nancy Levin and her partner Robert Gahtan of Lexington, and the late Steven Palais. Brother-in-law of David Snyder of Waltham, Bo Snyder and his wife Deborah Holland of OR. Close family includes Eleanor Palais and Dr. Albert Levin. Loving uncle to his nieces and nephews, Dr. Julie Palais, Dr. Robert Palais and Dr. David Palais, Dr. Nikki. Levin, Michael Levin, Dr. Lynne Snyder, Steven Snyder and Susan Snyder. A Memorial Service will be held at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., BROOKLINE on Monday, September 29 at 11 AM. Following the Services on Monday until 3:30 PM, everyone is invited to the home of Nancy & Robert.
