Mr. Baush,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army Air Forces in Europe during WW II fighting the Germans as a member of the 8th Air Force with the 492nd Bomb Group was a part of. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. After suffering heavy losses during bombing raids over Nazi-occupied Europe, the 492nd flew night missions dropping supplies and agents to the various Resistance groups fighting the Nazis from the Summer of 1944 through to VE Day in 1945.
