I graduated from the Fitzgerald School in Cambridge with Ed then found him on FB. He will sorely be missed. I'm still in shock that he has passed. My condolences to his entire family. I know he was proud of his family, he told me so. RIP Ed.

Endless love being sent to all of you. I remember being at Sandra's house having a BBQ and going to the fireworks all together. You're dads love for his family was so evident. So sorry for your loss and grateful I had the opportunity to meet him. May your memories shine for a lifetime.

Eddie you did so much for me through my life. You have been a member of our family as long as I have been, an honory Italian! You scared me as a child holding me by my ankles over a pier, you calmed me as I hid at your house! You later in my teenage years allowed me to live with you, Annete and the kids. You gave me your old car and taught me how to change my own oil!!! Those are just a very few momories! Lets not forget frying up the shrimp on Christmas Eve every year!!! Eddie you were loved and will forever hold a special place in my heart! Aimee and Sandra I love you and am always here for you!!!

Ed and I knew each other when we were kids (we went to the ME Fitzgerald School together), and reconnected as friends on FaceBook. He was a wonderful soul, and completely devoted to his family. I am so very sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

So many memories...this one is my favorite. I was 16 yrs old and just got my permit. Eddie decided he would teach me to drive and he did. Even brought me for my license. However, our first day out on East Street, Weymouth. We were in his old tan colored LTD. I was driving and nervous as hell. Ed turns to me with that smirk of his and says "Bean Bag you might want to turn a little and start driving on the street because you are on the sidewalk." He stayed so calm that day but never let me forget it. You will truly be missed. My thoughts and love are with Aimee and Sandra.

He was my number one advocate. He was my motivater. He was my uncle godfather and friend . He lifted me up when I was down. He was a smart and funny man . He was full of wisdom and inspiration. my memories of my uncle will always be with me. His words he gave me will stay strong in my heart forever. He was by far one of the strongest men I knew and always will be in my eyes. Rest in peace uncle I miss you deeply.

I know I can speak on behalf of the many, many people here at Gillette who worked with Eddie. We were all deeply saddened when we heard of Ed's passing. He was extremely well liked and respected here by everyone. We have lost a friend, a very hard co-worker and an all around nice guy. In the days ahead, may God comfort his family whom he loved so much. Gillette is a much emptier place without our friend Ed Petrosky.
