RAYNARD, Edward L. Edward L. Raynard of Middleton, MA, passed away on February 27, 2024. Born on August 22, 1939, in Lynn, MA, he was the cherished husband of Shirley (Paul) Raynard; and a proud father and grandfather. A veteran and a graduate of American University and Boston University, Ed dedicated his life to social work and community service, impacting many through initiatives like the Massachusetts Adoption Resources Exchange and the "Wednesday's Child Program." Ed's legacy continues in the programs he founded and the lives he touched. The Middleton community remembers him for his public service, educational advocacy, and the joy he brought as "Uncle Eddie" or "Grampy." Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at Mackey Funeral Home, Middleton, MA. Visitation Thursday 4-7 & Service on Friday at 10am at the funeral home. Donations in his memory can be made to the Friends of Flint Library/Neighbors in Need Program, 1 South Main St., Middleton, MA 01949.
