Sister Edwardette Havey C.S.J.

(Alice Havey). Beloved member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston for 79 years and the Bethany Community, Framingham, died Thursday, January 5, 2006. Daughter of the late Edward B. and Annie J. (McGrath) Havey. Retired teacher formerly missioned at St Anthony, Allston; St. Columbkille, Brighton; St. Mary's Boys High School, Lynn; Matignon, Cambridge; Our Lady Help of Christians, Newton; Cardinal Spellman, Brockton; assigned to CSJ Motherhouse, Brighton; Fontbonne Hall and Bethany Healthcare Center, Framingham. Sister of Mary Jordan of New Jersey. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Edward B., John W., Annette M., and Gerald Havey, Estelle Bleau and Edna Jolliff. Visiting hours at St. Joseph Hall, 93 Bethany Rd, Framingham will be Sunday 3:30 to 5 PM and 6 to 7 PM followed by a Vigil Prayer Service at 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 AM in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit at Bethany Healthcare Center, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham. Burial will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., FRAMINGHAM, MA 01702.
