Eileen will be missed. My family and I have had the pleasure and honor of knowing Eileen and family since the 1970's in Ithaca NY. When I moved to Boston 15+ years later we rekindled our friendship. Upon moving away from Boston, I was blessed by Eileen's monthly phone calls to see how I and my family were doing. Much as I tried to reciprocate my compassion for her plight with serious ailments over the years, she would never complain. Her compassion and loyalty will always be remembered.

My deepest condolences to John, Mary, Kevin and Michael.

We will remember Eileen as a gracious hostess at the Algonquin Club. We loved sharing holiday meals with John and Eileen in the cavernous, elegant dining room. There was always interesting conversation as well as good food--and the warm hospitality and generosity of Eileen and John will never be forgotten.
