PRIOR, Sr. Eileen Marie, CSJ Sister Eileen Marie Prior, CSJ, in the 76th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Friday, May 23, 2025. Devoted daughter of the late John and Mary (Heslin) Prior; and loving sister of the late Mary Prior, Sister Theresa Prior, SSND, John, Francis and William Prior. Sister Eileen is survived by her cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, along with her devoted cousins, and her Sisters in the Congregation. Formerly missioned as a teacher at Sacred Heart School, East Cambridge; St. John School, Swampscott; St. James, Medford; Jackson School, Newton; and Newton Catholic, Newton; and as principal at St. Mary School, Winchester. Visiting Hours at Holy Family Chapel, Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, 631 Cambridge Street, Brighton, MA, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, 9:15 to 10:00 a.m. Prayer Service at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at the Motherhouse at 10:15 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 990 Lagrange St., West Roxbury, MA. Arrangements by Norton, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, FRAMINGHAM.
