McCARTHY, Ellen (O'Brien) Of Woburn, died peacefully, July 11th, two days short of her 88th birthday. Beloved wife of 56 years to the late David V. McCarthy. Devoted mother of Ellen E. Richardson, her husband David of Tewksbury, Dr. David W. McCarthy, his wife Lucy of Lynnfield, Marie E. McCarthy of CT and Thomas C. "Tucker" McCarthy, his wife Janice of NJ. Loving grandmother of Kaitlyn Richardson, Meaghan Knox, Maddy, Liam, Ryan, Abby, and Tucker McCarthy. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Funeral will be held in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn on Friday, July 15th at 10 a.m. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
