Yesterday Chris & I had a stroll through the woods on Dutton Road. I fondly remember you teaching me to ride a bicycle there. Miss you and your laugh

Dear Emily, We will be celebrating you, your parents and siblings at the July 28 2019 10am Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption in East Boston. I thought it was my idea but now that we are reminded of your passing 11 years, I think you may have been working on it. Love, Susan

Dear Chris, Jim, Peter, Jack, Kathy and Jo;
May I share a few thoughts with you? I am so sorry I could not be at Mom’s funeral but want you to know I will be at Mass here and with you in my thoughts and prayers. I will be there in spirit.
(Other prior commitments keep me here).
I’ve known your Mom for 63 years and she will be missed. She was a very strong, determined woman. She was also a very loving person. I have many, many wonderful memories.
Did you know she had a funny nickname in High School? She was “Goo Goo” St. John and I was “Pops”. We double dated, she and your Dad and me and my high school sweetheart. We shared the football games, track meets, and all the usual teenage things.
She was so happy as a bride and loved each and every one of you so much. I was always amazed at how efficiently she handled 6 children ( Although on some occasions she was a bit stressed out.)
Our paths separated for a while but we always managed to stay in touch and reconnect. When we were together, we always remembered our ‘roots’.
Her gentle care of your Dad in his illness was so touching. She could have hired help but chose to perform a labor of love herself. And she did it with tenderness and generosity of spirit.
Em was a very spiritual person. Her spirituality was sincere but very personal.
I’m glad we shared so many things over the years, especially those girl talks after dinner in our nightgowns..
I’m glad she was my friend.
With love to each and all,
Marie

Love and hugs to all my King cousins and their families!
I will miss Emily - that great laugh! Many of my childhood memories revolve around the King household - Fisher Ave, Dutton Road, Ford Road are my fondest! Emily taught me to ride a bicycle on Dutton Road.
She had a great flair for fashion and was loads of fun!
I pray that she is now enjoying her heavenly home. I can't help but think of the Irish prayer that "hopes you are in Heaven and hour before the devil knows you've gone".
Love always,
Susan & Bruce

Dear King Family,
There are many memories of times spent with Chris and her family. I recall Mrs. King laughing at Chris and I as we danced in the Sudbury living room, "worked" in the Trapelo Road business, weekends on the Cape and entertaining us all in Orlando. When I bring an image of Mrs. King to mind, I see her smiling. She will be misssed.

Dear King Family,
Ned and I were very sad to hear of your Mother's passing. We were very fortunate through the years to reap the benefits of both your Mother's and Father's warmth and caring. I remember your Mother's wonderful laugh and her overall exuberance for fun that paired so perfectly with your father's quieter nature.
Chris and I go back to our teen years and the Sudbury house. After our own children came along the Cape was the gathering spot! The Cape house holds lots of memories of "roommates reunions". When your mother and father were not in residence we missed their energy!
I was able so see Chris and Jo Tuesday. I wish Ned and I were able to see all of you in person to extend our personal condolences, but please know you are all in our thoughts. Amy, a special hug for you.
