My condolences to her family...
Ms. Eunice Cook will be remembered dearly.
We lost touch a couple years ago and I wondered how she was...
I was her hairstylist for several years. I first met this amazing woman on Hanscom AFB, MA, where I provided her hair services at their beauty salon, Stylique. I colored and styled her hair. We connected immediately.
Eunice was a great storyteller. She had such a remarkable gift of remembering exact dates and times of past events she had along with the names of those involved. She spoke of her days of working on the base, responsible for service members home goods being moved from one place to another.
She had a vivid and keen sense for details. She even remembered the make & models of every automobile she and Mr. Jim had over the many years to include the colors of all the vehicles as well.
She also had a gift for writing. She wrote a book and was working on another about her families lineage.
When I became self employed, she followed me to my new location and would religiously schedule her appointments twice monthly for over a year up until she decided it was time she stopped driving on the highways to Maynard and made the decision to sale her home and purchased an exclusive assisted Living townhome. Eunice was an outstanding independent & generous woman who loved her family dearly. She was a joy to be around. She even had me and my daughter over for lunch at her home before moving out of Acton. I am honored to have had the pleasure of being in her company, as well, her having met my family.
I recall how deeply she missed her husband and lived him dearly. She had such loving stories of how he cherished her and she him...
May she be reunited with her Jim, (as she would say), and their loving spirits rest in peace.

Marsha & Jimmy & family, Was heartbroken to hear this. Your Mom was so very special to our family as we go way back. She was the greatest of friends to our Mom over the course of her lifetime. Your Mom and Dad were both the greatest and I know you all will miss her terribly. May God bless and comfort each of you at this sad time
