Beloved mother of Diana Weinburg and her husband Mark of Melrose, Michael DeBenedetto and his wife Colleen of Hopkinton, Joseph DeBenedetto and his wife Michelle of N. Reading, and the late Lisa Friesner and her surviving husband Greg of San Jose, CA. Predeceased by her siblings Costa Chalas and his wife Cathie, John Chalas and his wife Ann, and James Chalas and his wife Dimitra. Cherished grandmother of Michael Weinburg and his wife Genevieve, Mary Weinburg, Matthew Weinburg, Kairat DeBenedetto, Anthony DeBenedetto, Matthew DeBenedetto, and Andrew DeBenedetto. Proud great-grandmother of Matilda, Augustus, and Greta. Also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Visiting Hours in honor of Effie and Lisa at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., MELROSE on Thursday, March 25 from 4-7pm.
