Frances T. BUCK

BUCK, Frances T. (Barbieri) Of Readville, known affectionately as Fran to her friends and loved ones, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, at the age of 89. Fran was born on May 2, 1936, in Boston, MA, to Joseph and Josephine (Slovick) Barbieri.

She was the beloved wife of Edward J. Buck of Hyde Park; and beloved mother to their two daughters, Laura (Gillis) and Christine (McNulty), instilling in them the values of love and kindness that Fran embodied. Laura, alongside her husband Frank of Winthrop and Christine with her husband, Stephen of West Roxbury, remember their mother as the epitome of love, always putting others before herself.

Fran's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Ryan Gillis of Winthrop, Daniel McNulty and Michael McNulty, both of West Roxbury. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly. Her unwavering love and friendly spirit will live on in their hearts forever.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, nana, aunt, sister and friend. Fran's memory will be cherished and kept alive by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 N. Main St., RANDOLPH, on Tuesday, November 11, from 4:00-7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Pius X Parish, 105 Wolcott Rd., Milton, on Wednesday, November 12, at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park.
