FRANCES RUBIN

RUBIN, Frances (nee Filler) Formerly of Randolph, on December 17, 2017, age 101, survived by her daughter Trudy Rubin and daughter-in-law Syrl Silberman, mother of the late Saul Rubin, beloved wife of the late Theodore Rubin. Daughter of immigrants, helped put her brothers through college, worked as a bookkeeper until 72, always dreamed of furthering her education and finally graduated from UMass Boston at 75 years of age with a degree in gerontology. Loved gardening and identifying new birds, and never stopped singing until her final days. Services at Agudath Israel Cemetery, 776 Baker St., West Roxbury, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 11:00 am.
