Age 88 years, of Arlington and Beverly, August 18, 2005. Husband of the late Frances J. (Alt) Kavanagh. Father of Francis A. Kavanagh and his wife Cathleen of Danvers and Joan C. Black and her husband Dana of Arlington. Grandfather of Heather J. Black, Johanna C. Black, Eric A. Black, Emily F. Black, April K. Kavanagh, Krista C. Kavanagh and Drew F. Kavanagh. Brother of Paul Kavanagh of Medford and several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Service will be held in the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, BEVERLY on Sunday at 2 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A visiting hour will be held prior to the service on Sunday from 1-2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Make-a-Wish Foundation, 259 Devonshire St., 4th Fl., Boston, MA 02110. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.
