Hamlyn, Franklin A. "Frank" 81, formerly of Hampton, NH died on Sunday Sept. 21st. US Army Veteran. Loving son of the late Charles and Hilda (Moulton) Hamlyn, devoted husband of the late Dorothy (Taylor) Hamlyn, beloved father of Candace Ferrell, Christiansburg, VA, Perry Hamlyn, Tewksbury, MA, and Robin Knight, Sandown, NH, grandfather of Rebecca, Rachel, and Joseph Ferrell III; Shannon and Justin Hamlyn; and Amanda, Nathaniel and Jessica Knight, brother of Robert Hamlyn, Wells, ME, Donald Hamlyn, Manchester, ME, Irene Lovell, CA, Dorothy Walker, Gold Canyon, AZ, and Edna McKenney, Portland, ME as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased also by four siblings, Charles Hamlyn, Harold Hamlyn, Margaret Elwell and Thea Low. There are no calling hours. Following cremation, memorial services will be held by the family at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or Autism Society.
