GAIL PETERSEN BELL

BELL, Gail Petersen February 6, 1951 – May 19, 2025 Age 74, of Hingham, MA, passed away unexpectedly, on May 19, 2025. Born in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Norma Kettells Telesco and Peter Petersen. Gail was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and respected leader in South Shore real estate. Gail was a vibrant member of the South Shore community. She was a past president of the Plymouth County Board of Realtors and starred in, "The Home Center with Gail Bell." She was a longtime and active member of the Cohasset Golf Club, a past member of the Board of Governors of the Neighborhood Club of Quincy, a charter member of the South Shore Women's Business Network, a former active member of Rotary International and a supporter of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Bartlett, Sr.; her son, Christopher James (CJ) Bell (Mariana); and grandsons, Luke and Brendan. She is also survived by her brother, Gary Roelke (Patricia); and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her brother, E. Wayne Roelke (Katherine) and her parents. A Wake will be held for the public on Friday, May 30, from 4-7, at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., HINGHAM, MA 02043. There will be a private Burial Service for the family on Saturday, May 31. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Scituate Animal Shelter.
