Dear Lois,
I never had an opportunity to meet you but I cannot tell you how much "Uncle George" meant to myself and my family. I was so fortunate to have him attend my wedding last June in lieu of my own grandparents being there. I know how close he was to them. I am so sorry we did not know about his passing until now. You have my deepest sympathy for you and your family.

Dear Lois,
The twinkle in your dad's eyes when he looked at you said it all. A wonderful character- indeed, the show must go on.

Dear Lois and family:
We were very sorry to hear of the passing of George Galgay. Please convey our sympathies to all the members of his family and friends. We have very fond memories of his visit along with his brothers Frank, Jim, and their wives and his sister Rosemary to St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. We also enjoyed his second visit with Lois.He had a great love for Newfoundland because his great grandfather William and Mary Coady Galgay began the Galgay clan in the United States with the leaving of his grandfather Francis to Cambridge. May the good Lord grant him peace and joy and may his gentle soul rest in peace.

Choo-choo George You had so much gentleness and love with your trains; Your sweet roses you picked and sent to me on several occasions; Your friendly "Hello Darling"; our sweet little talks; hearing your deep voice singing so often echoing through our neighborhood along with your love of the organ.
