Dear Lois,
I never had an opportunity to meet you but I cannot tell you how much "Uncle George" meant to myself and my family. I was so fortunate to have him attend my wedding last June in lieu of my own grandparents being there. I know how close he was to them. I am so sorry we did not know about his passing until now. You have my deepest sympathy for you and your family.

Our sincerest condolences to the family of George. We remember him fondly as we both did shows with him in Winthrop. He played my father in "Fiddler on the Roof". He was a great Tevye. He will be missed.

Dear Lois and all,
We have just returned from a weekend up North and are so sorry we were not here to attend your Dad's services. Needless to say, he was one of our dearest friends and we wil certainly miss his visits to our home. He was a great friend as well as co-worker for many years and we have so many happy memories of time spent with him.

Dear Lois and family:
We were very sorry to hear of the passing of George Galgay.Please convey our sympathies to all the members of his family and friends. We have very fond memories of his visit along with his brothers Frank, Jim, and their wives and his sister Rosemary to St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. We also enjoyed his second visit with Lois.He had a great love for Newfoundland because his great grandfather William and Mary Coady Galgay began the Galgay clan in the United States with the leaving of his grandfather Francis to Cambridge. May the good Lord grant him peace and joy and may his gentle soul rest in peace.

I will miss George's great sense of humor and his wonderful singing voice. I loved his rendition of Irish Eyes are smiling and Danny Boy. He always welcomed me whenever i went to Union Church. He will be sorely missed.

Choo-choo George You had so much gentleness and love with your trains; Your sweet roses you picked and sent to me on several occasions; Your friendly "Hello Darling"; our sweet little talks; hearing your deep voice singing so often echoing through our neighborhood along with your love of the organ. Loosing someone as special as Uncle George is impossible to express. He brought so much comfort to us during the loss of our Dad, his brother Frank.
