LAMBERT, George A. Of Needham, MA, Eastman Villages in Grantham, NH and Sarasota, FL died peacefully after a long illness on June 24, 2021. Born in Needham, on August 17, 1936, George was the son of Wilmot and Amelia (Chambers) Lambert. Beloved husband for 61 years of Dorothy M. (Croucher) Lambert of Needham. Devoted father of William L., Mary Lucille and David G. Lambert and his wife Judith, all of Needham. Cherished grandfather of Jacqueline of New York City, Karyna and Kyle, both of Needham. Loving brother to Harold T. Lambert of Ormond Beach, FL and the late Raymond Lambert of Portland, ME. Graduate of Needham High School Class of 1955 and Captain of the Needham High Hockey, 1954 State Championship team. Graduate of Northeastern University Class of 1960. Founding partner of Com Sale Electronics and Yankee Electric. Visiting Hours will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, NEEDHAM on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 4-7. A Funeral Service will be held at Carter Memorial United Methodist Church, 800 Highland Ave., Needham, Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Needham Cemetery. He loved flowers but he wanted to thank the organizations that contributed to his rise from a low income child and gave him the opportunity to excel in life.
