Mr. Lehman,
Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

To Jeanette and Phyllis and the rest of the family, whom we know, but less well, we send our condolences and expressions of concern for you in your loss of a husband and a dad. What a hole this leaves in your lives, as those of us who have experienced it similarly can attest. It is very tough and we wish you well in getting through this difficult time. You were there for him always and when it was especially important in the last few months, and we hope that will ease the pain for all of you.

Our love and best wishes to all of you,

Jane and Erwin Murdock
